Getting from the cruise port to the center
The Port Bus (blue cruise shuttle) runs from terminals A-B-C-D to the Columbus Monument every 20 minutes, €4 one-way. Taxis cost €15-20 with a €4.50 port surcharge. From the Columbus Monument, metro L3 or walking into the Gothic Quarter is immediate.

Independent tours and pre-booked attraction tickets are cheaper and more flexible. Ship excursions guarantee you get back before the ship leaves, which matters for port calls under 8 hours. For 2-day pre- or post-cruise stays, independent is better.
Barcelona Sants railway station has lockers from €5.20/day. The cruise terminals have paid storage. Many hotels will hold bags before check-in or after checkout at no charge.
